Reserved Place Model

Weekly and Fortnightly sessions

When we agree on a regular appointment time, that space is reserved especially for you. My practice operates on a pay for your place model, which means you're paying for your dedicated place in my schedule, rather than individual sessions attended. This helps provide consistency and continuity in our work together.

I understand that life happens, and there may be times when you're unable to attend. If you need to cancel, I'll do my best to offer a make-up session within seven days of your original appointment, subject to availability. If we're unable to find a suitable time, your usual session fee will still apply.

This approach allows me to maintain a small caseload and provide each client with a consistent, reliable and dedicated space for therapy.

What this means for:

Exceptions

There are some occasions when your regular appointment may not be available, including public holidays, my annual leave, illness or days when I'm attending professional development. You won't be charged for sessions that fall on these days, and I'll always aim to provide as much advance notice as possible.

Where possible, I'll offer an alternative appointment time close to your usual session, subject to availability and a time that suits us both. There's no obligation to accept an alternative appointment, and if we're unable to find a suitable time, no session fee will apply.

Relinquishing Your Regular Appointment

There may come a time when you feel ready to take a break from therapy, move to occasional maintenance sessions, or conclude our work together. If you no longer wish to maintain your regular appointment, I simply ask that you let me know with 24 hours’ notice so I can offer that space to someone else. You're always welcome to return to therapy in the future, however, your previous appointment time cannot be guaranteed, and any future bookings will be subject to availability.

Flexi Sessions

Flexi appointments are both initial intake sessions for new clients and for clients who have completed regular therapy and would like occasional sessions to maintain their progress, check in, or seek support as new challenges arise. Rather than holding a regular appointment time, sessions are booked as needed and are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy.
