ONLINE SPECIALIST THERAPY
C-PTSD | PTSD | BPD | FAMILY OF ORIGIN & ATTATCHMENT ISSUES
Rooted in relationship. Focused on healing.
We support people 16 years and older with emotional wounds and mental health concerns go from surviving to thriving.
Paper Daisy Therapy can help.
If you've been carrying the effects of trauma, difficult relationships, or painful experiences from the past, you don't have to carry them alone.
At Paper Daisy Therapy, I work with people across Australia who are ready to move beyond coping and begin the deeper work of healing. Together, we'll seek to understand not only what is happening in your life, but why, because lasting change comes from addressing the root causes of suffering, not simply managing its symptoms.
This is thoughtful, relationship-centred therapy for people who are ready to engage in meaningful change. Through a consistent therapeutic relationship and evidence-informed approaches including EMDR, we'll work together to help you build a life that is no longer organised around survival.
I'm glad you're here.
If you’re reading this, you have been suffering.
Perhaps you’re here because:
You have a sense that your past is still shaping your present, and you're ready to understand why.
You've spent years trying to cope, but something still feels unresolved.
You've recently learned about attachment styles and are beginning to make sense of your relationship patterns.
You often feel like you're surviving rather than truly living.
You find yourself reacting in ways that don't make sense to you, even when part of you knows you're safe.
You struggle to know who you are beneath years of adapting to other people's needs or expectations.
Painful memories, relationships or experiences continue to influence your life, despite your best efforts to move forward.
You've tried therapy before, but it never quite reached the heart of what was keeping you stuck.
You're ready to understand yourself with greater compassion and begin creating lasting change.
If you recognised yourself in these words, you're in the right place.
When you choose to work with us, we will give you a roadmap to healing.
Healing at the source
Coping strategies can be incredibly valuable, but they are only one part of the picture. When you're ready, we'll work beyond symptom management to gently process the experiences that continue to shape your life, supporting greater integration, flexibility and emotional freedom.
Our goal isn't simply to help you manage your symptoms. It's to help you build a life that is no longer organised around survival.
A clear direction
Trauma can leave people feeling overwhelmed, disconnected and unsure where to begin. Together, we'll develop a shared understanding of how your past experiences have shaped your present, creating a roadmap that guides your treatment with purpose and clarity.
Evidence-informed therapy
You'll receive practical tools, thoughtful guidance and evidence-informed therapy tailored to your unique experiences. While the internet can provide endless information, meaningful change comes from understanding how that knowledge applies to your story and having the support to put it into practice.
Through our work together, you can:
Understand how your past experiences continue to shape your present and begin creating a different future.
Build a life that is no longer organised around survival.
Feel more emotionally safe within yourself, your relationships and the world around you.
Respond with greater flexibility, rather than feeling driven by old patterns or protective responses.
Process painful experiences so they no longer hold the same power over your everyday life.
Develop a stronger, more compassionate sense of who you are beyond trauma, shame and survival.
Experience greater ease, connection and meaning in the life you're creating.
Healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about having the freedom to become more fully yourself.

The short answer is yes. Research consistently demonstrates that those who participate in therapy are better off on a range of wellbeing measures than those present similar issues but who do not.
-
This is a common question with a simple answer: there is always hope. The findings from neuroscience shows us that the brain is capable of changing throughout the entire lifespan. New neural pathways can always be created.
It is also a central principle of Paper Daisy Therapy’s approach that the “true self” is always present and available, no matter how deep it is buried under life experiences.
However, openness and willingness to engage in treatment are critical factors that determine effectiveness. It is not enough to just show up to your appointments. Change happens when people are ready, willing and able to do the work.
-
Effective therapy involves having the right therapist doing the right treatment at the right time. Therapists are humans too, we all have our unique style, approach and personality. They’re a little like housemates. You have to find someone who you “click” with. Unfortunately, this can take some time.

Many individuals ask why therapy costs so much and it can be a factor that stops many them from engaging in the support they need. However, therapy is an investment in your future and your own well-being. If you would like to understand the exact reasons, you can read about them here. Ultimately however, you need to consider: what is the cost to you personally if you continue to suffer and do not prioritise yourself and your needs?
Also, Medicare rebates are available if you are referred on a Mental Health Care Plan through your GP.
What you get with Paper Daisy Therapy
Online Consultations
We are based in the Ballarat region but offer telehealth sessions to individuals all over Australia. Geographical distance is no longer a barrier to getting the right kind of support. You will connect to sessions using a unique link given to you in Power Diary (our scheduling software). With the click of a button you will be able to access the support you need. Best of all, research demonstrates that online therapy is just as effective as in-person for most conditions.
In-person consultations
We offer in-person consultations at the Theta Clinic in Bendigo, Vic. We’re committed to improving the lives of those who live in rural and regional areas.
Individualised Approach
Each person is unique. The causes and manifestations of depression, for example, can be vastly different in different people. Due to this, your treatment at Paper Daisy Therapy will be tailored to your unique circumstances, preferences and goals. Your goals are our goals.
We’re looking forward to supporting you to find more ease in your life.
